Guitar Tuning Online – An easy & proper way to tune your guitar

The most common problem for a newbie guitarist is tuning his/her guitar in a gentle way. Here gentle means tuning your guitar so that it sounds on scale. Playing a guitar without tuning is like a sound of a harsh bird! I hope you all are better guitarist than me. So you hate that more than me.

There are many ways to tune your guitar. Such as guitar tuning online, tuning with an electric tuner & finally using harmony scale to get proper pitch on each note. The final procedure is easy for any expert guitarist. Also is the best way because it increases sound sense for all notes. But as said it’s also difficult for a person who is new in guitar.

So there’re two ways left for a beginner guitarist. He/She can use an electric tuner or tune guitar with the help of guitar tuning online. Guitar needs to be tuned frequently because the humidity & temperature distort the tension of strings. If out of six strings only one string is out of tune then there is no value of other fives whether they’re tuned or not tuned. In case of old strings the strings get plain by fraction with the fret board. That’s why you need to change strings in a regular interval.

If you’re interested to tune your guitar with the help of guitar tuning online, here are some guitar tuning online sites for you:

By using online guitar tuner provided by these sites you can easily tune your own guitar without any other help. I think of all guitar tuning online sites the best is Turefire Guitar Tuner.

How to use?

At first you need to allow access to your built in microphone. To use microphone press allow in the pop up window. If your computer doesn’t have a built in microphone, use an external. In order to use the external hardware press settings & change the input to your external piece. To plug in an electric guitar change the input to line-in. It’ll connect the guitar directly to the sound card.

If a string is in tune the tuner will show it by pointing a needle in the middle. If the needle is in the left side then you’re required to tighten the strings. If it’s placed on the right side then you need to decrease the tension of strings. The tip in that case is change the tension slightly don’t be hurry.

If a guitar tuning online selected by you doesn’t provide such support then play each online virtual string. Remember that all strings sound same as a real tuned guitar! So don’t worry. You can also set scale, pitch on that virtual guitar. You can select standard scale, chromatic scale as your wish. Now play your guitar’s each string and set them same as the virtual counter parts. Play each strings at least 6 times to be sure that the strings on your guitar matches with the virtual ones. If it matched properly your guitar is tuned & ready to play.
